Leaf Statement Earrings in Peach Enamel, Art Jewelry Big Dangle Earrings, Woodland Inspired, Dragonflies & Sparkles, Original OOAK, WillOaks

One of a kind long leaf dangle earrings in a translucent shade of peachy pink enamel. Transparent copper enamel glazes create unique colors when fired over hand shaped and formed copper sheet. Part of my 2017 series where my enameled leaf shapes from my Flora Series meet detailed bug charms, including brass dragonflies. Tiny Swarovski crystals and sterling chain collect the dragonflies to the handmade sterling silver ear wires.

Ready to mail, these vitreous enameled earrings borrow from nature, yet make a beautiful, original art statement.

Each "Leaf" is about 1 1/8" wide & almost 3" long; Total earring length is about 3 1/4" from top of ear wire; my design is lightweight & very swingy-hand shaped and formed from sheet copper and then enameled.

Vitreous enamels are created as fine powdered glass is bonded to the metal under the high heat of a kiln--1450F to 1500F. The back is finished with color similar to the front, but more rustic.
