Naturally colorful spinel hoop earrings, in a lovely vintage palette, with oxidized sterling silver as slightly rustic original OOAK dangle earrings. Oxidized sterling silver hoops are created by coiling silver wire, and then binding it in fine oxidized sterling to capture a collection of faceted spinel gem rondelles in a lovely range of vintage colors, a OOAK original creation. A lovely contrast between darker silver and faceted stones for earrings that will go with everything.

I began to work with this coiled hoop design several years ago and it's taken many finished forms over time, and continues to evolve. These earrings measure 1 3/4" or 45 mm from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the hoop. The hoop part is about 1" or 24 mm in diameter. 14 hand cut faceted natural spinel beads in shades of purple, mauve, lavender, & warm peach, each about 3 mm, are arranged along the bottom and sides of each hoop and captured with oxidized wire binding.

The lever back ear wires keep the earrings secure, yet let the hoops swing freely. Ear wires are oxidized sterling silver.

These earrings will coordinate with many styles, from casual to formal, as they have a warm vintage feeling to them.
