Elegant handmade copper leaf form has been enameled with multiple layers of glass, front and back, to achieve the essence of a begonia leaf. A smaller pin with a steel pin back looks great on a lapel, a scarf, a hat....anywhere a medium size pin is desired. An elusive mix of garnet red and touches of black and green.

This one of a kind brooch features a mix of transparent and opaque glass and glistens where the polished copper shows through the most transparent enameled areas

Pin measures about 2 3/4" (71 mm) long and about 7/8" (22 mm) wide at the widest. Presented in my signature box & ready to gift. Examples of my signature velveteen bag, and my jewelry boxes are illustrated in the last photo--variations of these are used for all my jewelry pieces.

Glass or Vitreous enamels are bonded to the copper in a kiln at temperatures between 1450F-1500F for a permanent durable finished material that will not fade, bleed or change. As illustrated above, a steel pin is epoxied to the back & includes a safety clasp.
